National Conference on Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate researchers at Wayne State University are encouraged to apply to present their work at the 22nd annual National Conferences on Undergraduate Research (NCUR), which will be held April 10-12, 2008, at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Md.

The conference is nationally recognized as one of the best for undergraduate researchers and draws representatives from universities across the country.

Some funds are available from the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) to support WSU undergraduates who are accepted as presenters, but you must apprise OUR of your desire to participate in order to receive funding.

If you want to be sponsored by OUR, e-mail undergradresearch@wayne.edu and indicate you are applying to the conference. Include your name, e-mail address, home address and phone number in the e-mail.

If you are notified that you have been accepted at NCUR, e-mail undergradresearch@wayne.edu and a representative will set up a meeting to have you fill out a conference registration form.

Plans for the conference are handled by the national conference committee. Questions about WSU participation can be directed to Craig Phelps at (313) 577-9872 or e-mail undergradresearch@wayne.edu.
